Route
Route is a shipping protection and package-tracking service. On Shopify it offers a protection option in the cart and a tracking experience after purchase, rendering its control into a mount point the cart provides. The protection product, its pricing and its claims all sit with the vendor.

How We've Used It
One gated build touches it: the cart page, where the vendor's control has a defined mount point inside the order summary rather than being appended wherever an app can find an anchor. Putting it in the summary column, beside the subtotal and the checkout button, is a layout decision the theme owns and a merchandising one the client made. What renders inside the mount is the vendor's, and the theme makes no claim about it either in the markup or in the copy around it.
