Account
Account is the logged-in side of a storefront: login, registration, order history and the address book, rendered by Shopify's customer templates. The forms are the platform's own and keep their semantics — a customer address form is a customer address form — so theme work here is layout, state and navigation around a form set Shopify owns.
How We've Used It
We keep the platform's forms and change what surrounds them. Address management stays on Shopify's customer address semantics, with our own layout, pagination and confirmation states over the top, because the form's field names and behavior are what the platform validates against. The other pattern is merchandising: account pages are a dead end by default, so a card rail placed inside them gives a signed-in customer somewhere to go. Anything the customer sees here is rendered from customer objects Liquid already exposes, not from a copy of that data held somewhere else.
