Methodology
Caveats: Commerce.com (BigCommerce) subscription ARR and detected origins, 2023 to 2026
- The company renamed itself Commerce.com in July 2025. The fiscal 2025 Form 10-K is filed under that name.
- Subscription ARR is the annual revenue run-rate of subscriptions at year end, as the Form 10-K defines it. The filings report thousands of dollars and the chart shows millions.
- Enterprise average revenue per account is in US dollars even though the field name keeps the K suffix; the column description shows how that was checked against the Form 10-K's enterprise account metrics.
- Origins are websites with enough Chrome traffic to appear in the Chrome UX Report, not stores or accounts, and headless builds are under-detected.
- Annual growth of ARR and the fall in origins on the story page are computed by Deploi as the later value divided by the earlier value, minus 1.
- Commerce.com's Form 10-K for fiscal 2025 says enterprise account metrics will no longer be disclosed beginning in fiscal year 2026, so the enterprise account series ends with fiscal 2025.
- Commerce.com reports GMV gross, before refunds or discounts, while Shopify reports GMV net of refunds; both include shipping and taxes, so the two compare in scale only.
