Elevar vs Littledata: both offer server-side Shopify tracking. What's the actual functional difference between them?

Short answer

Elevar and Littledata differ in what they meter, not in what they track. Elevar caps destinations: Core includes 2 for $225 a month (Audiense, October 2026). Each extra destination costs $125 a month from Advanced up. Littledata meters orders only, so Scale includes every destination for $199 a month, or $159 billed yearly (Littledata's plans page, October 2026).

Deploi’s call

The real difference is the meter: Elevar charges for destinations as well as orders, Littledata for orders alone. So pick on the meter, not the feature list. If your destination list is long and your order count is modest, Littledata's pricing model is structurally kinder. If your order count is high, your destination list is short and you want predicted lifetime value in your bids, Elevar's shape fits better. The feature comparison will not tell you this and the pricing page will.

BuyChoose Elevar when

  • Paid acquisition is the job, the profile Deploi's Elevar vs. Littledata record gives Elevar (October 2026).
  • Your order count is high and your destination list short, because Premium includes 30,000 orders and 10 destinations for $1,250 a month (Audiense, October 2026).
  • You want predicted lifetime value in your ad signals, which only Elevar's Premium and Elite plans sell (Audiense, October 2026).

BuyChoose Littledata when

  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4) or a warehouse is your source of truth, the profile the Elevar vs. Littledata record gives Littledata (October 2026).
  • Your destination list is long and your order count modest, because Littledata charges nothing per destination (Littledata, October 2026).
  • You will commit to a year for 20% off, or you want an uptime commitment on Plus (Shopify App Store, October 2026).

What do Elevar and Littledata both do?

Elevar and Littledata both run a Shopify data layer and send events server side, so their feature lists now look alike. Both can send to Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and Klaviyo, and both work with consent apps (Audiense; Littledata, October 2026). Both sell identity features too. Elevar lists identity resolution and session enrichment on every plan (Audiense, October 2026). Littledata's plans page lists Session Enrichment (Littledata, October 2026). Littledata's Persistent ID is what Littledata calls "Littledata's identity resolution feature for Shopify" (Littledata's Persistent ID page, October 2026). Both can also send profit instead of revenue to ad platforms: Elevar from its Advanced plan, Littledata through a Profit Signal it labels beta (Audiense; Littledata, October 2026). So a feature checklist ends in a tie. For what Elevar's cheapest plan covers below Shopify Plus, start with the answer on Elevar's entry plan.

How does each vendor meter its price?

Elevar meters destinations as well as orders, while Littledata meters orders alone, and that is the functional difference that reaches your invoice.

Elevar caps destinations on every plan, while Littledata prices orders and includes its destinations

So a growing destination list moves the Elevar bill and leaves the Littledata bill alone, while a growing order count moves both.

What does each vendor cost a five-destination brand?

A brand sending to five destinations at 8,000 orders a month pays $775 a month on Elevar and $724 on Littledata, month to month (Deploi arithmetic from the vendors' prices, October 2026). The bills land close because Elevar sells a fifth destination as a $125 add-on to Advanced rather than forcing Premium (Audiense, October 2026). Five destinations could be Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and Klaviyo.

Five destinations cost about the same on both at 8,000 orders, while two destinations at 25,000 orders favor Elevar month to month

Verified October 10, 2026.Deploi arithmetic from the published prices. The yearly figures follow Littledata's own pricing calculator. That calculator takes 20% off overage as well as the plan fee. Littledata's App Store listing shows the yearly saving only on the Plus plan fee, so confirm overage terms before you count on them.

Run both numbers on your own order count and destination list before you read any feature comparison, because one more destination or a yearly discount can flip the order.

Where do Elevar and Littledata differ beyond the meter?

Beyond the meter, Elevar and Littledata differ on lifetime-value scoring, platforms beyond Shopify and support terms.

  • Predicted lifetime value (LTV). Elevar's Premium and Elite plans "Enrich events with likelihood of customer comeback & predicted LTV" (Audiense, October 2026). Littledata's plans page lists no predicted lifetime value (Littledata, October 2026).
  • Platforms beyond Shopify. Elevar's Premium and Elite plans add an application programming interface (API) framework for platforms such as WooCommerce (Audiense, October 2026). Littledata's plans page names no platform beyond Shopify, and its headless and Hydrogen support, from Scale, covers custom-built Shopify storefronts (Littledata, October 2026). Elevar sells a $4,500 one-time installation for headless Shopify storefronts, so headless support is not a platform difference (Audiense, October 2026).
  • Support terms. Elevar's pricing page lists "Standard (within 24h)" support on Core and Advanced and "Priority (within 12h)" on Premium and Elite (Audiense, October 2026). Its terms add that there is "no promise or guarantee of any specific response time" (Audiense's terms, October 2026). Littledata's Plus plan lists managed onboarding, dedicated account support and an uptime service level agreement (SLA), with no published uptime figure (Shopify App Store, October 2026).

Which vendor's tracking is more accurate?

Neither vendor publishes a method or a third-party audit behind its headline accuracy claim that we could find, so accuracy can't separate them. Littledata promises "100% accurate server-side tracking for Shopify. No developer required." (Littledata, October 2026). Elevar says it "captures nearly 100% of ad and website conversion data" (Audiense, October 2026). Both are marketing claims of the same class. The accuracy number that matters to you is the one you measure against your own Shopify orders after 30 days. For Elevar, what its accuracy claim does and doesn't guarantee is answered separately.

When is the Elevar and Littledata comparison the wrong one to run?

The Elevar and Littledata comparison is the wrong one to run when Shopify's own server paths are off, when one destination is broken, when the store is very small, or when a data team wants the raw event stream.

Deploi’s point of view

Our own position, from building on Shopify. Kept apart from the sourced facts above.

What we’ve seen
Destination sprawl is the cost driver nobody forecasts. Teams sign at two destinations, add TikTok, add Klaviyo, add a fourth ad platform in Q3, and discover they have crossed a tier boundary, or started paying $125 a month per extra destination, for reasons that have nothing to do with their traffic.
Where we disagree
Comparison content on this pair is written as a feature matrix, which is exactly the format that hides the only difference that reliably changes the invoice. We would publish the two pricing models side by side and put the feature matrix second.
What this page adds
The parent asks whether Elevar's entry plan works below Plus. This answer sets Elevar's destination caps and $125 extra-destination fee against Littledata's order-only pricing, and works the monthly bill for a five-destination brand and a two-destination brand.

When this answer changes

  • Audiense changes Elevar's plan prices, destination caps or the $125 extra-destination fee.
  • Littledata changes Scale or Plus pricing, its 20% yearly discount or its order overage.
  • Littledata takes Profit Signal out of beta or adds predicted lifetime value.
  • Either vendor publishes a method or a third-party audit behind its headline accuracy claim, or an uptime figure.
  • Deploi re-scores its Elevar vs. Littledata record or aligns its paid-media line with the Elevar vs. built data layer record.
