Route is a shipping protection and package-tracking service. On Shopify it offers a protection option in the cart and a tracking experience after purchase, rendering its control into a mount point the cart provides. The protection product, its pricing and its claims all sit with the vendor.

Shogun is a page builder for Shopify. Merchants compose landing pages in its editor, and it renders them through its own layout and templates rather than through the theme's page templates, loading the theme's assets alongside its own so a built page still looks like the rest of the store.

Shop is Shopify's own shopping app. The Follow on Shop button lets a shopper follow a store from its storefront, and Shopify renders that button through the platform's own code path. A theme places the region it appears in; it does not build the control or hold the follower relationship.

It appears in a theme as a dynamic checkout button rendered by the platform from the product form, and it carries a shopper straight into a checkout with their saved details. The button's markup and behavior belong to Shopify; the theme decides where the product form is.

Its plan picker mounts as a custom element in a theme's buy box, taking the product and the selected variant as attributes, and it can be pointed at an existing price node so the price a shopper sees follows the plan they choose rather than sitting in a second element of its own.

Sourcemap is a supply-chain transparency platform. It publishes traceability views — where an ingredient or a material came from and the steps it moved through — as embeddable maps a page can host per product, with the underlying sourcing data held and maintained on the vendor's side.
