What does leaving a Plus contract early cost?
Shopify does not publish a cost for leaving a Plus term early. Its pricing FAQ, read October 18, 2026, says that on a 1- or 3-year Plus subscription "you can cancel when your term commitment expires", and no Shopify page Deploi read states a fee or terms for leaving sooner. Deploi records no exit cost and does not infer one.
The FAQ line appears on both the United States pricing page and the Canadian pricing page. It ties cancellation to the end of the term, so any exit exposure has to come from the contract Shopify offers, which these pages do not reproduce.
Does the 36-month cost assume a fixed price?
The 36-month cost assumes that the monthly price published on October 18, 2026 holds for the whole period, according to Shopify's Help Center Plus plan page. Deploi recorded no renewal price for the 1-year term, so a price change at renewal would change the comparison. Deploi treats the published price as the cost.
Counting the 1-year term as three years at today's price is the simplest consistent basis. It is not a forecast of Shopify's prices.
What does the 36-month cost leave out?
