If our company runs 3 separate brands, do we need 3 separate Shopify Plus contracts at $2,300/month each, or can one contract cover all 3?
Shopify Plus's 9 included expansion stores do not cover three separate brands. Expansion stores must be "extensions of the main brand," identical in store name and branding, and carry the same types of goods (per Shopify Help Center, September 2026). Shopify's published alternative is a multi-brand agreement, which allows multiple brands in one organization but requires each brand to hold its own Plus subscription.
Does Shopify Plus's per-store pricing change at all if a merchant's expansion stores are in different countries with different Shopify Markets configurations?
Expansion store location does not change Shopify Plus pricing. The plan fee is set by the organization's billing currency, at $2,500 USD monthly on a 1-year term and $2,300 on a 3-year term (per Shopify Help Center, September 2026). One constraint bites instead: every expansion store must have a billing currency of USD or INR, whatever currency its storefront sells in.
