Common Questions
Does Elevar actually guarantee accurate purchase data, and what does its accuracy claim mean in practice?
No guarantee is published. Elevar's marketing claims "nearly 100% of ad and website conversion data" (audiense.com, September 2026), and the product behind that phrase is a Channel Accuracy report that measures delivery, not attribution. Elevar's own documentation includes a page titled "Why Doesn't Channel Accuracy Equal 100%" (docs.getelevar.com, January 2026).
Why would agencies specifically recommend Elevar over Triple Whale for stores that had already documented GA4 duplicate-purchase issues?
The two products sit on opposite sides of the GA4 problem. Elevar writes the event into your GA4 property; Triple Whale reads data into its own dashboard, priced Free, Foundation at $219 per month and Automate at $749 (Shopify App Store, September 2026). Only the tool that writes the event can deduplicate it.
Does Elevar's data-layer accuracy focus actually reduce Meta/Google ad-spend waste, or is that just a marketing claim?
No controlled evidence is published. Elevar's figures are uncontrolled customer reports: 20 to 25% more conversions, a 22% increase in Facebook ROAS, and 2 to 3x more abandoned-cart emails from tracked Klaviyo events (audiense.com, September 2026). The mechanism is real and the lift is unmeasured. Only a geo holdout or a matched before-and-after on your own account settles it.
Do we need multi-frequency subscription logic (weekly + monthly on the same product), and which app actually supports it well?
Shopify's free Subscriptions app supports multiple delivery frequencies on one product: a single plan carries several frequency-and-discount options, and one product accepts more than one plan (per Shopify's Help Center, September 2026). Frequency units run weekly, monthly and yearly. Paid platforms differ on portal depth and retention logic, not on whether one product offers two cadences (Deploi assessment, September 2026).
Should we bundle subscriptions with our new B2B wholesale channel, and does any Shopify subscription app support company-level recurring orders?
Shopify lists subscriptions among the features incompatible with B2B, so no app delivers company-level recurring orders on the native B2B channel (per Shopify's Help Center, September 2026). Subscriptions are also incompatible with draft orders, the mechanism most B2B purchasing runs on. Standing wholesale orders belong in reorder tooling and Flow automation, or in a separate D2C storefront.
How many apps is 'too many' for a mid-market Shopify store before performance and manageability start to suffer?
Ten frontend apps is the practical ceiling for a mid-market Shopify store, and installed count is the wrong metric: only apps that inject storefront code cost load time. Across 400-plus stores, frontend-detectable apps run a median of 4, with 9 at the 75th percentile and 13 at the 90th (Hyperspeed, June 2026). Shopify's listing bar is set per app, not per stack.
